So here’s the thing, God blesses us even when we act like that kid in the grocery store that just found out that his mom was serious about “no cookies“. Ya know, sometimes he’ll allow us to be molded to be who we need to be but even that is a blessing because he’s making us our best selves.
Now, being the insubordinate creatures that we are, we tend to sin. And in one sin comes another sin. And from there you get a snow ball effect. And before you know it… well everything is falling apart. You ask God why, but haven’t taken ownership of your actions lately. And then you begin to blame God. And you doubt Him. And you tell people that He’s not real because you’re so “angry” but really hurt and confused. And then one day, you just may get the urge to speak to Him again. And by this time you’ve talked about Him, cursed Him, ignored Him, etc. And all you can think to say is “Lord I need you”. And He embraces you without mentioning it. He loves you without question. He heals you without scars. He saves you, and says come home.
WHAT A GOD WE SERVE.
Sometimes things that seem bad to us (like losing a loved one, or losing a job) are really just events in God’s plan. As you build a relationship with Him, you understand that it’s His will and not ours. He is all knowing and we are forever learning. Get it?
“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”
In other words, you don’t know a thing. Everything that you think you know, you’ll soon see is all perception. God knows where you were, are, and will be. So just live and let Him guide you, or you may get lost.
